The highly anticipated sophomore reggae album "Charka" from Hempress Sativa is set to hit the airwaves in June 16th, 2023. This album features some notably talented Artists in the industry, including Grammy nominated artist, Sister Carol. Charka promises to be a deeply rooted, reggae-Dub journey that will take listeners on a musical odyssey. Hempress has poured her heart and soul into this project, and it shows in songs such as “Ghetto Life” that speaks to life growing up in a low income community or “Wisdom” that elaborates on her journey in the business and her intention to be an artist for positive change.
In addition, Hempress Sativa's latest single, "Sound The Trumpet," Produced by Jallanzo Production and is set to be released on April 21, 2023, on all digital and streaming platforms. The single is available for pre-save today.
